I am now going to do something I rarely do and have never done in these pages. I am going to state that today’s weather here in my part of England was perfect. It really was the most perfect of days.
A high of 26C, humidity a nice, comfortable max of 55%, the odd fluffy cloud, plenty of decent sunshine and over-nighting at a low of around 14C. And no rain! Well - at least until Thursday according to the forecast.
Perfect!

I think your feverish wife might disagree with your assessment of the weather since she was on the verge of spontaneous combustion and you didn’t even offer to get her shoes for her but ORDERED her to put them on…just when men had gone up in my estimation, too!

@Sandi McBride: Not totally fair that. When she said she had no shoes on I actually said that surely to do the job properly, she should be wearing boots. She left that bit out.
In our 32 years of marriage I doubt there has been a single day on which we have both been warm/hot/cold etc., at the same time. Well… maybe apart from our recent vacation where we both agreed that 115F was, er, hot.
Hey Andy! You’re very welcome to come here & enjoy our LOVELY weather today! (As I’m sure I will… NOT!)
It’s supposed to be 94-96 F and very humid - oh, joy!
@ozgirl2: Now… why would I swap my perfect day for 94F in the middle of a swamp? You have my sympathy youy really do.
And after that perfect day came the rains. it’s midnight here, 21st July and it’s 11C - about 52F and that ain’t summer weather.
