Hey Andy – we didn’t have that one over here but they did the same thing with my childhood really-cheaply-made after-school pastime. It was called ‘Dark Shadows” and was basically a soap opera with vampires, ghosts, witches, werewolves, etc… REALLY bad acting, sets that would fall down but they couldn’t afford to re-shoot so they just left them, etc. I LOVED it when I was in grade school and now they’re out on DVD – if you can get through alot of the tedious boring parts, they’re hilariously funny!

But they tried to remake it – with much better acting & effects… didn’t last long though!

I loved Blake’s Seven. Outstandingly cheap nonsense. I once worked for the guy who designed Servelan’s outfits. He also did Shirley Bassey’s (you can see a connection) LOL.

Andy..BSG is sci fi for adults…requires a little bit of attention and thought to get the best out of it..plus..robot sex babes!…keeps the lads interested…even older ones like me.

@thud, couldn’t agree more about Dr.Who, but I did watch the Dr. Who Christmas edition – but not for the acting !! (and I know I’m sad before you tell me)
