What you can see in the top right is exactly what you think it is – a rubbish bin with a sticker on it. What you can see in the bottom left is also what you suspect it is.
This ‘Fuck You’ is close to my heart – metaphorically speaking of course! As a dog owner who never leaves the house without a pocket full of environmentally-friendly degradable bags when the dogs are with me, I take exception to the laziness and anti-social behaviour of others who just let their dogs dump and move on.
The net result, of course, is that the multitude who do not have dogs accuse us all that do for the behaviour of the few. Both myself and my wife have, before now, been tackled by an irate home-owner blaming us for the dog shit on their grass verge.
When I was a kid, dogs were often seen running loose around the streets. Play areas used to be dotted with dog shit and you were lucky if your shoes stayed clean from week to week. I think it’s great that those days have passed and that the majority clean up their own mess. But as usual, there are always that small number who don’t give a fuck.
Yeah this is a bummer. I live in Hollywood and the exact same thing happens……. I’ve been seeing a lot more of an even weirder phenomenon occurring lately though. People pick up their dog poop in a bag and then just drop the bag on the ground…..WTF? It’s like they’re trying to do the right thing, but they’re quitters… or have committment issues or something…..
Yes – we’ve seen this as well. I have assumed that they feel they have done the right thing but cannot possibly be seen carrying it to the nearest bin!
Really? Who the hell do they think picks it up then? I’m finding this possibly worse. At least if it’s left ‘unwrapped’ it can decompose and wash away with the rain, not that I find acceptable behaviour. If I caught someone doing that I’d collect it and follow them.
