Until you own one, you can't judge. And once you've owned one, you cannot judge.

It's a joy. I've found myself looking for traffic jams, just to sit and bask in the sun.

But, boy, when you hit an open stretch of road and put your foot down and that 2.8 liter engine kicks in on a 1600kg body, vavoom! Climaxing a hill is spot on!

Ah! I have an Audi A4 Cabriolet due to arrive in the next week or so. I've got used to the roofless thing and the four seats will come in handy. I've put the Z3 up for sale now but it's still tempting to just put it in a garage somewhere and get it out from time to time.... apart from the cost of course! Believe it or not it's a 2002 and it's only got 9900 miles on the clock...

I cried the day I left my Nissan 350z. But I needed the two extra seats.
That being said, I have put off selling all my cars for a long long time.... I hate having to part with my loved ones..

I know how you must be feeling. I have a trusty, and only slightly rusty, MR2 Mk1 T-Bar I store for winter and with two young children its not going to get much of an airing. Even my Saturday morning sprints up the road and back seem like a minor extravagance. Im going to get it on the road again in the next week or two but I fear this year may be the last. Parting will be rather deflating .. ..
