I don’t generally use my mobile to take pictures and I also tend to forget them when I have so they accumulate there, gathering dust. But whilst walking the dogs the other day I did take the picture I used in the last item which meant I had to download them onto my Mac. Which meant I found all the others that were lurking there.
A while back I helped a talented young photographer named Faustina Black with one or two coding problems she was having. I had already written up her site, A Little Piece Of The World where she had made stunning use of my gallery plugin and when she asked for some advice I was only too pleased to give it. The new site not only showcases her work but also allows you to buy prints and, as a result of the help I freely gave I was honoured to be offered a couple of free prints in return.
And I always promised her that when framed and hung, I would take a photo or two and show them to her. And I did this but then promptly forgot. I apologise for the quality of the picture but it was my mobile and the light in the room is bright and, of course, reflects off the glass.
This second one is not, of course, the actual framed picture – I just couldn’t get a good shot of it. But this is the other that I own framed in the same way as the first. So thanks Faustina for the prints. They have been admired as they reside in one of the guest rooms.
Just to finish off I have to say that young Faustina has more talents than just her photography. This recipe for spreadable cheesecake is also hers and I am most certainly going to try it when one of those ’sod it’ days comes along…
You are too nice Andy!
