The Witanagemot Club, a loose group of non-partisan sites supporting the call for an English parliament, of which I am a proud member, has started a petition.

It’s good to see that the English are starting to wake up and are becoming more aware of the political deficit Uncle Tony and his Tartan Army of Cronies have caused us. More ‘official’ polling data shows that the demand for democratic parity is growing and we can now add the support of many leading Scottish politicians, themselves acutely aware that the current situation is breeding disquiet south of their border. Gosh – even the BBC has started to talk about it, even if rarely.
