Outside the British Isles, England is often erroneously considered synonymous with the island of Great Britain
(England, Scotland, and Wales) and even with the entire United Kingdom.
Despite the political, economic, and cultural legacy that has secured the perpetuation of its name,
England no longer officially exists as a governmental or political unit unlike Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland,
which all have varying degrees of self-government in domestic affairs.
The Witanagemot club is a loose collection of bloggers that believe that the current constitutional settlement is disadvantageous
to England and support the creation of an English Parliament.

OK this is a a bit silly. Bit I recently watched, for the first time, ‘The Green Mile. If you’ve seen this film – or read the book – then you’ll know that Tom Hanks performs probably the shortest act of urination on film. In A League Of Their Own on his first entrance to the locker room, he takes what surely must be the longest leak ever filmed.
