Where Are Our Journalists?
Posted on June 16, 2005 in Politics by Andy @ Yellow SwordfishComments Off

A few days ago I asked why our media were so quiet about the ‘Downing Street’ and ‘Cabinet’ memos on the Iraq War.
At the time I suggested the media were too engrossed in the EU budget row with France but Podz, at What Makes You Happy suggests that in fact it was road charging that buried the memos. Fridays being the day to bury embarrassing news – as we all know – probably means he is right.
Silly of me to think that the French President might have done Tony Blair a favour over such a damaging leak – one I am sure he’d love to see hit the headlines.
