I just read on Wired about a US Congressman’s plan to form a new Asteroid Agency
The creation of a government agency to protect the Earth from a catastrophic asteroid strike is being endorsed by a senior member of the U.S. House Science Committee.
Well, I don’t know about anyone else but I feel safer already. No seriously – I’m all for it although I’m curious as to why the Congressman suggests an asteroid might fall on Rhode Island. Does he know something we don’t?
