OK, I admit my sock drawer is full to overflowing, but they're all in pairs and you know it! It's the other sock drawer - the overflow sock drawer - that's where the odd ones live. You sure you're looking in the right drawer?

Anyway. How I manage to end up with two dozen odd socks in there I'll never know. I didn't even think I had that many!

Hi Silverback.
It's all right for you living in semi-permanent summer!
We have one of those washing machines that can turn just about anything inside out, With me it's duvet covers that swallow up everything else in the wash with them!

What could be more important than selecting socks?
I always said that if I won the lottery - hard one, because I don't play the lottery - that I would have a new pair of socks every day. There is nothing quite like putting on a new pair of socks.
Ok - there are many better things than putting on a new pair of socks but it's pretty good.

Bizarre indeed....and I'm not just talking about the socks saga.

Three posts in four days !! This could become habit forming, my lad.

Being that I yearn to be American, my only socks are of the white ankle variety so when I get to the last pair of my extensive supply, I'll always find a match. The only fear I have is that I'll again come upon a solitary sock, as has happened a few times, but usually its twin can be found at the bottom of a fitted sheet. On my bed. Fitted !

How it was missed during the fitting procedure, is also a bit magical.
